Whelp, here we are again. Should I give into my testing urges, or wait? I ordered a bunch on cheap tests from Amazon last time and I still have lots left, so why not?! I know, I know. It’s only been 5 days, and it’s way too early to see a positive. I just have a good feeling.
I did it. I peed on a stick. Now I’m waiting. Waiting. WAITING!

Take a good look at the image below. Is that a second line??? Hold the test up, angle it just right, make sure the lights are bright, and squint just slightly.
Yep! That’s a freaking line! Screaming. Crying. Running in circles. OMG it worked!! You guys, I’m pregnant!!!
Pregnancy testing like a pro!
I bet you’re looking at this picture thinking I’m nuts. Yep, you’re right. Pretty much all IVFers are this crazy when it comes to testing. We’ve worked so hard to get to this point. We’ll analyze the test for hours to make sure. The tweezers are there for contrast. That’s a trick I’ve learned from those who paved the way before me.
Any who, did I mention that I’M PREGNANT?? I am so freaking happy!!! Now I have to wait 4 more days to get the official blood test, but things are looking great!
And for those skeptics out there, here’s the second test I took to confirm. I like to use the internet cheapies when I’m testing early, because I fully anticipate a negative, but do it any ways. I don’t whip out the FRER (First Response Early Result) unless I get a positive on the cheapies, or it’s closer to the blood test (like within 1-2 days). The internet cheapies are less than a buck a piece. A FRER is like $8, so those add up fast if you’re a test-a-holic like me. Look at how beautiful those two lines are!
