Hi.

My name is Dani. Welcome to my site where I share my journey to have a baby. I hope to shed light on the infertility journey that so many couples are on. If you are struggling to conceive, please know you are not alone and there is hope. Leave a comment or send me an email if you have questions.

Medication Time

Big box of IVF medication

Big box of IVF medication

After three rounds of ordering medication, plus several additional orders when more medication was needed, it's safe to say I've seen my fair share of pharmacy packaging. I was blown away by my latest order. I've used several pharmacies, some better than others, but Alto Pharmacy takes the cake. They package everything so nicely. They organize and label my syringes and needles, by medication and by step. This is a big deal when you have several medications requiring different syringes, mixing needles, and injection needles. I can't begin to tell you how much time and overwhelm this saved. They placed stickers on medication that said things like, "Swirl me, don't shake me." They included the medication rebate program, with a stamped envelope, and an additional copy of the receipt. This made it easy for me to complete and mail the rebate form immediately. They included a thank you card, extra alcohol swabs, and plenty of gauze pads. They even included salted caramels! All of this comes on top of excellent customer service, which is why I chose them in the first place. Shoutout to you, Alto Pharmacy!

My protocol includes: Lupron (diluted) injections, Medrol, Gonal F injections, Menopur injections, Tamoxifen, prenatal vitamin, and folic acid.

Additional medication for later:  Estrogen injections, progesterone suppositories, progesterone injections, and doxycycline.

As of right now, they have me scheduled for 10 days of medication. I'll get an updated calendar after egg retrieval.
