Running tests to make sure my pain is normal after egg retrieval

It's been a little over a week since the egg retrieval and I've been having a lot of pain on my right side. It feels like the pain is where my appendix is, which is also the area of the right ovary that had the biggest follicles. I feel a definite pressure and heaviness, but the pain seems to be getting a little worse by the day. I started getting sharp pains when I stand up.

I called the doctor to make sure this was normal, and he asked me to come in to be sure. He did an ultrasound. Nothing unusual. I had over 20 follicles, so he said it was normal to have some lingering pain. I don't have a fever or trouble breathing, so he wasn't worried. Just asked me to call once my period starts.
