I am feeling tired and restless. I'm a sleeper and an expert napper, however, since the transfer I've been sleeping less and not feeling tired at all. I wake up 3 times to go pee every night and wake up before my alarm in the morning. I just have this overall since of happiness. A feeling that I can't describe, but definitely feel. I'm going to test tomorrow. I can't take it any longer. My mom will be in town this weekend and it would be so fun to surprise her. I figured tomorrow will be far enough from the hcg trigger (15 days) and far enough from ovulation (10dp3dt or 13 days post ovulation). I'm excited and nervous.
Update, I took a test. I think we have a squinter. I'm going to buy a FRER so we can get a real answer! I recommend using a FRER instead of trying to decipher the blue dye tests. It's official. We're pregnant! We went to target tonight and bought pacifiers and little bags to give our moms to open.

My boobs are definitely bigger and tender, my stomach has a heaviness, and I pee a lot. Other than that, not much to report in the symptoms category.
I gave my mom a little bag and said it was a trinket from Barbados. When she opened it, it was the pacifier. She cried tears of joy. It was the moment I've been dreaming about for three years. It was wonderful! I want to tell everyone, but I want to see an ultrasound first. My appointment is scheduled for October 26th. So far away!

BFC said I have to continue taking all the medicine for 12 weeks and that I need a beta test. Called kaiser and they said they won't order the beta test for me. So I'm not sure what to do right now.
I downloaded the Ovia Pregnancy app and it makes me so happy to see baby's progress. He/she is the size of a poppy seed now.

Having that pregnant feeling is the best sign of all. Truly it's too early for any kind of physical signs, and everything I'm feeling could be linked to the medication, but feeling pregnant is a woman's instinct. I haven't had more than 6.5 hours of sleep since transfer, and it is broken up with pee breaks throughout the night. Bring it on though! I'll embrace every single thing that means I'm pregnant. IVF ladies definitely appreciate the things that most pregnant women hate, like nausea, peeing, cramps....because we worked so hard to get here. Any sign of a growing baby is like magic to us.

Beta result is 274. Woohoo!! The minimum beta number for pregnancy is 10.

I'm 4 weeks 6 days pregnant. Find out how many babies on October 26th. Feeling great! Peeing a lot, really sleepy, fuller boobs, and overall happy.

I got my second beta and it doubled! Thank the Lord! Now come on 7 weeks so I can see the little one(s).

6 weeks 1 day.
Symptoms: Sore boobs, tired, and vivid dreams.
Cravings: I can't get enough cereal, orange juice, water with lemon, anything spicy.

6 weeks 3 days .
Symptoms: Seem to be gone. Is this normal?? I'm bloated and tired which are both linked to the progesterone suppositories. As far as everything else... Gone. I stopped waking up to go pee 3 times a night. I thought symptoms get worse at this point, so I'm a little worried. My ultrasound isn't until next Monday.

So....there's always something to worry about. I should be measuring 7 weeks 3 days, but doctor said I'm only measuring 6 weeks 5 days and she seemed concerned. She said the heartbeat looks good, and that there is a possibility of the measurement being off because it's so early, or the angle could affect it. She scheduled a follow up appointment in two weeks to do another ultrasound. I'm praying that her measurement was just off, and that everything looks okay at the next appointment. The next two weeks are going to feel like eternity.
It can be the slightest bit off in the measurement, but it shows the growth as a week off. So being 4 days off isn't worrying me too much now. It was the OB/GYN who did the measurement, and she looked so young. She also had to call someone else to ask if the medication I'm on was okay. When I told her I should be 7 weeks 3 days, she took a couple more measurements and got a 7.1 and 7.2, and then said maybe the angle is off today. She asked me to come back in a week, but she was all booked up. So two weeks was the earliest. I feel like I'll be switching to another doctor after this next visit because I need someone who won't put me in a panic. Come on lady! I've been through enough these past three years! To even be this far is a miracle. I'll keep talking to my little chicken and tell him/her to keep growing strong and healthy, and pray for a beautiful number at my next scan.

I freaking LOVE the full panel maternity pants. I have been so bloated that I couldn't take it any more. I was unbuttoning my jeans every day because I was miserable, so I went to Ross on my lunch one day. Maternity jeans for $12! Bought 4 pairs! Lol!! I think they'll be my new "buffet" pants when I'm not pregnant. They are so comfortable. I'm only 8.5 weeks, but I gave into maternity clothes. Might as well get use out of them.

Our cute little gummy bear baby is measuring perfect and on time at 9 weeks and 2 days!!! That was the longest two weeks of our lives. I'm so thankful that little chicken is measuring on time now. That Dr. had us so worried.

I don't have any of the classic symptoms, and I'm 10 weeks today. I pee a lot throughout the night, have heart palpitations, shortness of breath, and bloody nose. They are all related to increased blood flow, so I'll take them. Just lucky to not have morning sickness. I'm hoping for big boobs at some point. The girls don't even hurt. What the heck? I thought I'd be able to see what boobs were like when I got pregnant. Maybe in a few more weeks?

My pregnancy is going really well. I feel amazing and happy. I'm almost in the second trimester. I can't wait because then I'll feel comfortable letting people know we're having a baby. For now only close friends and immediate family know. It's hard to keep it a secret. I just want to tell the whole world.

In three weeks we're flying from California to Florida and boarding a cruise ship. I tried to get out of the cruise since I can't drink and we're supposed to stay out of the sun if possible, but my doctor wouldn't write a letter for us. She said there is no reason we can't go on the cruise, or fly, and that we should go because this will be one of the last things we get to do before baby arrives. I'm 11.5 weeks today.

I just had my first trimester screening. Baby is doing great and tested negative. Praise the Lord! This ultrasound actually looks like a baby and not just a gummy bear. I started crying at the little miracle moving all around. Baby was waiving and moving. It's such a blessing!! When I got to my car I started crying and laughing. It's the most indescribable, happiest, amazing feeling in the world.

The doctor told me I need to slow my weight gain down a bit. I gained 9 pounds in the first trimester. I want to blame all of the IVF meds, but my doctor's daughter went through IVF and she knows all about it. She didn't let me off the hook. So...time to get moving and focused on eating better.
I heard the heartbeat today. 158. If the theory is true...that means I'm having a girl! A few more weeks and we'll find out.

I told my family that I was pregnant at Thanksgiving. My cousin has a 2 year old daughter and she looked so cute in her dress and boots. When she was running around I said "I hope I get one of those". My aunt looked over at me and must have seen something in my eyes. She said, are you?? And then she started bawling. It was so cute! The rest of the family was so excited too.

I just entered the second trimester on Friday. I didn't get much of anything, as far as symptoms go. No morning sickness. I ate like a crazy person though. I just couldn't get full. So I gained in the first trimester, even though you really shouldn't gain any that early. as long as baby is healthy, I'm not worried. I'll lose it afterwards. I pee a lot, but that's it. No sickness. No sore boobs. Nothing. I get sharp groin pains. If I get up too quick from lying and sitting, it's a stabbing pain in my groin. Scared the dickens out of me at first, but then I got used to it. Figured it was some sort of growing pain.
I'm leaving for a cruise this Saturday, and nothing fits. Can't even fit my spanx any more. I need to find some maternity swimsuit cover ups. STAT! Pregnancy is so magical and terrifying at the same time. I often look at myself in the mirror and think, what will my body look like after giving birth. I'm in maternity clothes. I can't possibly fit in normal jeans now. Maternity clothes are so cute nowadays, so I'll go look for some maxi dresses and skirts for the cruise.

I'm leaving for the cruise at 5am tomorrow. On a side note, I just did an interview about my international IVF. I am so happy to share my story with other couples considering IVF. Whether it's abroad or not. Like many of you have said, this is a time to educate others who don't know about IVF.

I came back from the cruise with a belly! My doctor won't be happy with me at my next appointment. I've now gained 13 pounds in 15 weeks. Plus it's the holidays. I'm screwed. Haha!

BOY!
I thought for sure I was having a girl, until last week when my belly popped out. I have a definite ball for a tummy. Now we need to come up with a name and start decorating the nursery. Fun!

I'm having heart palpitations pretty bad. I did an EKG, and will meet with a cardiologist because I'm having a bunch of extra beats. They make me feel weak. For now, I will be working from home.
